Parent and Child Gymnastics

Gymnastics is an amazing sport that combines diverse physical experiences and opportunities in a challenging and fun environment! Gymnastics provides developmental opportunities through physical, cognitive, and behavioral experiences on the floor, bars, beam, and vault. The sport helps children of all ages develop strength, coordination, balance, power, and flexibility. Taught by early childhood experts with experience and training in gymnastics and active learning, our classes will expertly blend brain development objectives with joyful and energetic gymnastics based active learning!

Walking to 36 months

This exciting parent and child class is filled with singing, jumping and climbing. Class time includes circle time, individualized gymnastics attention, parachute play, bubble time and music! It is the perfect start to help build your toddlers physical, cognitive and social skills in a positive learning environment alongside family and friends.

Preschool Gymnastics

3 Year Olds

This class is non-stop gymnastics fun! With increased motor development, eye hand coordination and fine motor skills, children will explore and improve their skill on various gymnastics equipment! Quickly assimilating language, children at this age are able to understand and independently follow basic instructions in gymnastics class. This curriculum is designed to provide skill development on floor, beam, bars, and vault. Children will enhance their forward rolls, straddle rolls, and be introduced to cartwheels. As their balance increases, beam work that includes alternating squat holds, forward kicks and beam crawls will be added. Core strength will be developed by learning to draw to a tuck from a straight hang on the bars and execute forward rolls over the bar. Vault skills will include punching the board with both feet, a squat on to a block, and donkey kicks. Spatial, sequential, and directional cues are important part of learning. Recognizing and understanding differences in color, shape, size, and color through music is also included. With more structured circuit activities, our hope is the children will become more independent in their activities.

4 and 5 Year Olds

At this milestone age of fine and gross motor development, gymnastics will progress rapidly through bridges, handstands, L- handstands, and stronger executions of rolls. Their longer limbs, more refined coordination, and stronger language skills, kids can run faster, climb higher, and hold longer! At this age, kids can hold their relevés and arabesques on beam and are developing the core strength needed to hold tucks, straddles, and pikes on the bars. Vault runway with sequenced runs will me mastered! Not only will they be punching the board with two feet … their vaults will now include stretch jumps, squats onto the block, and forward rolls. The curriculum focus’ on the amazing, compounding cognitive and social development of Four and Five Year Olds!

Ninja Classes

Ninja Tiger classes challenge boys and girls of all ages! Students train with various obstacle courses that are challenging and age appropriate. The classes focus on speed, agility, obstacle course training, and ninja based gymnastics. Ninja Classes have two different age groups; 4-5 year and 6-8 year olds.

Recreational Gymnastics and Tumbling

4 and 5 Year Olds

We welcome our 6 plus years to our 12-week recreational session that includes strength training, flexibility and skill progressions, all of which will help build a healthy mind and body. The focus is perfecting cartwheels, handstands, and straight-legged tables – all with increasing form and technique. As this age group grows, their abilities with floor sequences that combine rolls, jumps, lunges, turns, and finishes will improve! Balance and strength enables them to work on a jump to front support on the beam, 3 second V-sit hold on beam, lever to a T position, and much more! These kids will improve their windows on bars as well as L-hang and flexed arm hangs with a 5 second hold. Bars should become more fun as children work on window pikes and straddles, casts from front supports, forward rolls to flexed arm hangs, pullovers, and back hip circles. Advancing through this curriculum includes more focus on hollow body shaping, handstands, tucks, and straddles!
